It may take a bit longer to do than running to the store, but we are all about doing it the right way and knowing how to do it as if there weren’t any CVS around so here goes. Get yourself the following ingredients:
Put the ½ cup of water in a pan and bring it to a boil. Add the sugar til it dissolves, then the lemon juice and honey until fully combined. Lastly, add the ground up ginger and cloves and stir to a boil for 15 minutes. Remove it from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Take a cookie sheet and put down parchment paper on it. With a spoon place nickel sized drops of the liquid on the parchment. Let them cool, and sprinkle with a confectioner’s sugar on both sides. Then that left over Altoids tin makes a really good holder for these cough lozenges that you made yourself.
