The series of videos that I want to reference here are of a more primitive way of living. By far, most of us will not have to build kilns, shelters and tools from scratch. However, this wonderful and most capable of gentlemen at Primitive Technology shows how with ingenuity and determination one can utilize the skills of yesterday to improve our circumstances today.

Will we ever be living in the woods, and building our own shelters of stone, clay and wood, instead of the brick, steel and cement of modern methods? Perhaps, perhaps not. But that does not negate the fact that these methods, however seemingly primitive, are effective in what we can be experiencing with our environment.

We at ThatAquaponicsGuy look to bring back quite a few of these Like Hack Skills that our grandparents and great-grandparents practiced so that if we need to, can live free of any encumbrances placed upon us by outside and often unwelcome forces. Stay tuned for more of these Life Hacks!
